Cheese Puff Pastry Pinwheels Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
1 cup spinach, chopped
1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to
400°F (200°C).
Sauté Spinach and Feta: In a
skillet, heat olive oil and sauté spinach and garlic until wilted. Add feta
cheese and sun-dried tomatoes, stirring until melted and combined.
Assemble Pinwheels: Roll out the
puff pastry sheet to a 12x12 inch square. Spread the spinach and feta mixture
evenly over the pastry.
Roll and Cut: Roll up the pastry tightly,
starting from one of the shorter sides. Cut the roll into 1-inch slices.
Bake: Place the pinwheels on a
baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until
golden brown.
SERVE: Serve warm.
