St. Patrick’s Day Brownie Trifle 🍀
Layers of fudgy brownie, creamy mint pudding, and fluffy whipped topping come together in this festive dessert! Perfect for St. Patrick’s Day or any time you’re craving a chocolate-mint treat.
Ingredients:
For the Brownie Layer:
1 box fudge brownie mix (plus ingredients needed to prepare)
For the Mint Layer:
1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
1 ¾ cups cold milk
½ tsp mint extract
Green food coloring (a few drops)
1 cup whipped topping
For Toppings:
1 cup whipped topping
Chocolate shavings
Chocolate chips
Green sprinkles
Fresh mint leaves (optional)
Instructions:
Bake the Brownies:
Prepare and bake the brownies according to the package instructions. Let them cool completely, then crumble into chunks.
Make the Mint Pudding:
Whisk together pudding mix and cold milk until smooth. Add mint extract and green food coloring, then fold in 1 cup of whipped topping.
Assemble the Trifle:
Layer half of the crumbled brownies in a trifle dish, followed by half of the mint pudding. Repeat the layers.
Top It Off:
Spread a generous layer of whipped topping on top. Sprinkle with chocolate shavings, chocolate chips, green sprinkles, and fresh mint leaves for a festive touch.
Chill & Serve:
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to let the flavors meld.
