Orange Dreamsicle Salad Recipe

Ingredients:
1 (3 oz) package orange-flavored gelatin (Jell-O)
1 cup boiling water
1/2 cup cold water
1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
1 cup milk
1 (8 oz) container whipped topping, thawed
1 (11 oz) can mandarin oranges, drained
1 cup mini marshmallows
Directions:
Prepare the Gelatin Base:
In a large mixing bowl, dissolve the orange-flavored gelatin in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir until fully dissolved. Add 1/2 cup cold water and stir to combine. Place the bowl in the refrigerator and chill for about 15-20 minutes, or until the gelatin begins to thicken slightly but is not fully set.
Make the Pudding Mixture:
In a separate bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and milk until smooth. Let it sit for 2-3 minutes to thicken.
Combine Gelatin and Pudding:
Once the gelatin has thickened slightly, gently fold in the prepared pudding mixture. Stir until the two are well combined.
Fold in Whipped Topping:
Gently fold the whipped topping into the gelatin-pudding mixture until smooth and creamy.
Add Oranges and Marshmallows:
Fold in the drained mandarin oranges and mini marshmallows, being careful not to crush the oranges.
Chill and Serve:
Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until fully chilled and set. Serve cold as a dessert or side dish.

Add Texture: Sprinkle shredded coconut or chopped pecans on top for added texture and flavor.
Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
