No-Bake Pineapple Cream Dessert
Ingredients:
For the Crust:
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/4 cup granulated sugar
For the Filling:
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup whipped cream
1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
For Topping:
1/4 cup sweetened shredded coconut
Maraschino cherries for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Make the Crust:
In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar until well combined.
Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish.
2. Prepare the Cream Cheese Layer:
In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Gently fold in the whipped cream until fully incorporated.
3. Layer the Dessert:
Spread half of the cream cheese mixture evenly over the prepared crust.
Layer the drained crushed pineapple over the cream cheese layer.
Spread the remaining cream cheese mixture evenly on top of the pineapple.
4. Add the Topping:
Sprinkle the shredded coconut evenly over the top layer.
5. Chill and Serve:
Cover the dessert with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
Before serving, garnish with maraschino cherries for a bright, festive touch if desired.
