Carrot Cake recipe
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup grated carrots
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 egg
butter ( to grease pan)
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
METHOD:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a bowl, combine grated carrots, sugar, egg, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
3. Stir in the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until just combined.
4. Stir in the flour until just combined. Then, stir in the milk until just incorporated.
5. Pour the batter into a greased and floured cake pan.
6. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
7. Let cool before frosting.
