INGREDIENTS :
BROWNIE BATTER:
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs, at room temperature
- 4 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional, such as walnuts or pecans)
ICING:
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1/4 cup canned milk (evaporated milk) or regular milk
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 cups powdered sugar, sifted
- A dash of salt
INSTRUCTIONS :
FOR THE
BROWNIES:
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal of the brownies.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and cocoa powder. Stir until well mixed and smooth.
- Add the flour and sugar to the cocoa mixture. Mix well until combined.
