Chocolate medallions: the delicious and easy to prepare sweets!!
Mendiants ~ Chocolate Buttons or Chocolate Medallions ~ a fun and creative dessert that will impress your family and friends.
You only need some chocolate and nuts! 😍 The most delicious and simple treat ever:
INGREDIENTS:
Hazelnuts
Almonds
Walnuts
Pecans
300g (2 cups) of chocolate chips
Pistachio
Dry fruit
METHOD:
Pour the hazelnuts, almonds, walnuts, and pecans into the baking pan covered with parchment paper and bake in the oven at 180°C/360°F for 10 minutes.
Melt the chocolate chips and cool to 31/32°C degrees. Transfer the melted chocolate to the whipping cream bag.
Pour the chocolate onto the baking tray covered with parchment paper forming small piles. Move the tray gently to spread out the chocolate forming the discs.
Add the hazelnut, almond, walnut, pecan, and pistachio to each medallion and arrange the dry fruit on each one.
Set aside for 15 minutes or until the chocolate are firm.
Enjoy your Chocolate medallions.
