LEMON YOGURT SPONGE CAKE

LEMON YOGURT SPONGE CAKE:
how to prepare this amazing dessert

So fluffy that it'll melt in your mouth! Here's the recipe for one of the softest cakes ever.


INGREDIENTS:

4 yolks

8 g vanillin

30 g sunflower oil

Zest of one lemon

300 g Greek yogurt

50 g flour

30 g corn starch

4 egg whites + 1 pinch of salt

1 teaspoon of lemon juice

80 g sugar

Icing:

75 gr icing sugar

3-4 teaspoons of lemon juice

 






METHOD :

1. First mix the egg yolks with vanilla, oil, yogurt and lemon zest. Form a creamy and homogeneous mixture. Then add the flour and cornstarch.

2. Separately whisk the egg whites with the salt and gradually add the sugar and lemon juice.

3. Combine the two doughs and mix them well.

4. Pour everything into an 18 cm diameter mold.

5. Place the mold in another pan and fill it with hot water.

6. Bake at 160 degrees for 60-70 minutes.

7. Enjoy your Lemon yogurt sponge cake.
