MADE CHICKEN PARM STUFFED SHELLS. Only thing not Aldi was the shells. So delicious! Everyone had seconds.
INGREDIENTS:
This is for two 9x13 pans
*Two large chicken breasts cubed into 1"cubes.
*bread crumbs (I used panko this time)
*two small containers Whole milk ricotta cheese
*two jars favorite Aldi pasta sauce
*Parmesan cheese
*one bag Shredded Mozzarella
*2 Eggs
*garlic powder
*onion powder
*olive oil to fry chicken pieces in
* one box Large shell noodles (got from another store)
*salt and pepper to taste
METHOD:
Preheat oven to 350°.
Cube chicken, toss in a little olive oil, place in large ziplock and shake to coat with bread crumbs
and extra Italian seasonings, garlic powder, onion powder
Boil and cook noodles til 2/3 way cooked. Drain and rinse to cool
Off. Set aside
Cook chicken in heated oil in sauté pan til browned and set aside. Do not overcook
In bowl mix two containers ricotta, parm cheese, two eggs, seasonings
In a pan, layer pasta sauce on bottom
Stuff shells with ricotta mixture and place one or two pieces of chicken inside as well
Layer in pan and cover with more sauce and mozzarella cheese
Cover pan w foil and bake for 30 minutes until bubbly.
