Juicy and tender meatballs, flavorful homemade marinara sauce and spaghetti makes the perfect, all-rounder spaghetti and meatballs.

INGREDIENTS:
FOR MEATBALLS:
½ Cup breadcrumbs
½ Cup milk
500gr Ground beef
1 Large onion (Sautéd)
½ Cup parmesan cheese (Grated)
1 large egg
1tsp Salt
1tsp Garlic powder
1tsp Cumin
1tsp Paprika
FOR MARINARA SAUCE:
1tbsp Olive oil
1 Medium onion (Chopped)
3-4 Garlic cloves (Crushed)
2 tbsp Tomato paste
2 Cans (800gr) crushed tomatoes
2 tbsp Chopped basil (Fresh)
2 tbsp sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
1 pack spaghetti
METHOD:
Soak the breadcrumbs in milk for couple of minutes then combine all of the meatball's ingredients in a large bowl and mix well to combine. Portion the meat mixture into small meatballs and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 10-12 minutes.
In the meantime, place a sauce pot over medium-high heat, add olive oil and sauté the onion for about 10min until slightly browned. Add garlic and cook for another 1-2 min. Add tomato paste and give it a good stir. Pour in the crushed tomatoes and bring the sauce to a light boil. Add the basil, sugar, salt and pepper and mix well. Take the meatballs out of the oven, add them to the sauce and stir to submerge. Reduce the heat and cook for about 15min with the lid on.
Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions and combine with the sauce. Make sure that the noodles are evenly coated with the sauce.
Serve with a sprinkle of chopped basil and parmesan cheese. Enjoy your Juicy and tender meatballs.
