The Baked feta pasta recipe is going viral on social media over the last few weeks. So I adapted my prawn and feta saganaki recipe to baking it in the oven rather cooking sauce on the stove top . Verdict=yum.

INGREDIENTS :
2 punnets of cherry tomatoes
1 kilo uncooked Tiger prawns( shrimps), peeled and devained
1 block of feta
4 or 5 Tbsp olive oil
Fresh oregano and thyme(dried as well)
Black pepper
2 or 3 fresh garlic, crushed
2 cups baby spinach
Penne pasta
METHOD:
1. Arrange feta in the centre on a large baking dish, with the tomatoes and prawns around the feta. Drizzle with olive oil and season with pepper, herbs, garlic and turning ingredients around to coat well with seasoning. Drizzle with more oil.
2. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius ( 350 Fahrenheit)
for about 20 minutes or until tomatoes and feta are soft and prawns cooked. Break up feta and tomatoes with a fork.
3. In the meantime, cook pasta and add baby spinach at the end to wilt spinach. Drain spinach pasta and mix through the feta sauce.
