The Beef stew you make when you want to eat it with pap/sadza/ something like pounded yam/ nsima
INGREDIENT :
- Beef on bone
- Carrot
- Garlic
- Tomatoes
- Cumin
- Salt & pepper
- Garam Masala
- Onion ( red or yellow)
- Flour (optional)
METHOD:
1. Since its on the bone I boil it first for like 2-3hours with crushed garlic and salt.2. After I drain the excess water and put it aside for later use.
3. Season it with cumin and Garam Masala and leave it for 30minutes like that ( I just do it like that why ? I don't know)
5. Brown it with some oil and remove from the pot and set it aside
6. Do the onion, garlic, the beef stock that was set aside and tomato thing thing until the tomato fully cooked.
7. Add the beef back and a little bit of flour and let it simmer for another 20-30 or so.
8. Add carrots and let it cook & serve with pap/sadza.
