These Stuffed Zucchinis with Chicken & Bechamel sauce made from scratch turned out soo good.

STUFFED ZUCCHINIS WITH CHICKEN & BECHAMEL SAUCE
INGREDIENTS:
- 500 g big zucchinis
- 2 boiled & shredded chicken breasts(400g)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 minced garlic clove
- 1 tsp italian herbs
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder with herbs
- salt & black pepper to taste
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese or mix of grated white cheddar & mozzarella cheese
FOR THE BECHAMEL SAUCE:
- 3 cups milk
- 3 tbsp flour
- 1/4 tsp grated nutmeg
- salt & grated black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp butter (optional)

in a saucepan, mix all the ingredients together withoutthe butter. put over medium heat while stirring continuously until thickened then add the butter.
METHOD :
1. steam the zucchinis halfway while preparing the filling
2. for the filling:
in a skillet, heat 2 tbsp olive oil & sauté the onion then add the garlic until fragrant.
3. add the shredded chicken, the seasoning & half of the prepared Bechamel sauce. mix to combine
4. adjust the salt & pepper
5. in a friendly oven pan, spread the remaining Bechamel sauce
6. cut the steamed zucchinis into halves and empty the middle
7. line them over the Bechamel sauce & fill each one with prepared filling
8. add the cheese on the top & bake in a preheated oven 200'C for almost 15 minutes until the cheese melts & goldens.
