CHAKALAKA


Sunday Lunch. On my plate today Chakalaka, coleslaw, rice, chicken, beetroot, butternut Chakalaka



INGREDIENTS:

  • Green beans
  • Baked beans
  • Baby marrows
  • Robot peppers
  • Carrots
  • Onion
  • Paprika and spices of you choice
  • Prego sauce
  • Sweet chilli
  • Oil
  • Salt and pepper




METHOD:

Blanch green beans and set aside

In a saucepan, Fry chopped onion and carrots, until they are almost soft.

Then add robot peppers and baby marrow and the spices. Cook for about 4 minutes

Add baked beans, salt and pepper , and remove from the stove.

Then add Prego sauce and sweet chili sauce. Done.



COLESLAW:

Red cabbage, white/green cabbage, carrot, apples, Mayonnaise.


CHICKEN:

Season with spices of your choice, grill until cooked.

Bast with steakhouse sauce. Grill again for 5 minutes

Done.
