SPICY CHICKEN LIVERS 🥘
INGREDIENTS:
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 Onion, chopped
1 Red Bell Pepper, chopped
1 Tbsp Crushed Garlic
500g Chicken Livers
1 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Pepper
½ Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
2 Tbsp Tomato Paste
2 Tsp Ground Cumin
1 Tsp Granulated Sugar
2 Tsp Smoked Paprika
1 Tsp Dried Oregano
1 Tsp Chili Flakes
1 Bay Leaf
1 Cup Fresh Cream
METHOD:
1. Heat Olive Oil in a large skillet on medium heat. Add chopped Onions and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
2. Add Crushed Garlic and Chicken Livers to the skillet. Sauté until Chicken Livers are browned.
3. Add Red Pepper, Salt and Pepper to the skillet. Cook for another 3 minutes while stirring continuously.
4. Add Worcestershire sauce, Tomato Paste, Granulated Sugar, Ground Cumin, Smoked Paprika, Chili Flakes, Oregano and Bay Leaf. Stir to combine and coat the chicken livers, cook until all the flavours are fragrant.
5. Add Fresh Cream, stir to combine and cook until the cream has heated through, remove from heat and serve.
