CREAMY TOMATO PASTA 🍅

INGREDIENTS:
250g Penne Pasta
1 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 Onion, chopped
2 Tsp Crushed Garlic
1 Tsp Dried Oregano
1 Tsp Dried Thyme
2 Cups Beef Stock
1 Tbsp Corn Flour
1 Can Tomato Puree
2 Tsp White Sugar
Salt and Pepper
½ Cup Cream
METHOD :
1. Cook pasta according to package instructions and set aside.
2. Add Olive Oil to a large pan over medium heat. Add Onions to the pan and cook until translucent, about 3 minutes.
3. Add Crushed Garlic, Dried Oregano and Dried Thyme to the pan and cook until garlic is fragrant, about 3 minutes.
4. In a separate heatproof dish, add boiling water and Beef stock powder to make the Beef Stock. Add the Corn Flour to this beef stock mixture and mix well.
5. Add Beef stock and Corn Flour mixture to the pan. To the pan add the can of Tomato Puree, White Sugar, Salt and Pepper to season.
6. Bring pan to a boil then simmer until slightly thickened, about 8 minutes. Then stir in the cream and the pasta with the sauce.
7. Remove from heat and season to taste.
