OVEN GRILLED STEAK KEBABS 🥩 I used metal skewers for my kebabs, you can substitute this with wood skewers that have been soaked in water for 30 minutes. Really easy to make these in the oven with any veggies that don’t require much cooking time. The steak I used was a sirloin cut that marinated for four hours, cooking takes only 20 minutes in the oven.

INGREDIENTS:
1/4 Cup Olive Oil
2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
2 Tbsp Red Wine Vinegar
2 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
2 Tsp Crushed Garlic
1 Tsp Paprika
1/2 Dried Oregano
Salt and Pepper to taste
600g Sirloin Steak, cubed into smaller pieces
Vegetables of choice: I used red bell pepper, green bell pepper, portobello mushrooms, red onion and tomatoes. Other options: yellow bell pepper, zucchini, other types of mushrooms.
METHOD :
1. In a bowl, mix together all the marinade ingredients: olive oil, soy sauce, red wine vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, crushed garlic, paprika, dried oregano, salt and pepper.
2. Add the steak pieces to the marinade and store in fridge for at least 1 hour and at most 8 hours.
3. Prepare your choice of vegetables by cutting them into cubes for the kebabs.
4. Preheat oven to 180 C.
5. Thread meat and vegetables onto your skewers alternating between the different vegetables and meat. Use remaining marinade to brush over the vegetables on the skewers.
6. Place your kebabs into the oven and cover with foil. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes then remove foil and turn on oven grill for 3 minutes on each side.
